Getaway, vacation. Things not in his vocabulary, though he knows he's well overdue for it.

It takes him a moment to work up the courage to walk in the direction of that body, casual clothes replacing the more formal things he normally chooses. And it's quiet, almost drowned out by the rush of the waves onto the beach. ]
